Good day!
Who can tell you how to implement automation, when closing all sub-tasks, closing a parent task. By default, the automation does not work, the forum search also did not return any results (
I took this answer as a basis, but it did not work for me https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-Integrations/Trying-to-close-parent-when-all-sub-tasks-and-linked-issue-close/qaq-p/1251506
Thanks a lot!
Hi @Petr AST , aside from the automation rule, I believe you need a workflow transition that allows your parent issue to transition to the closed status no matter what is the current status of the the parent issue.
I did a basic automation setup with the following (parent workflow has a transition to allow all status to transition Done) and it worked. Another thing would be to check the Audit Log of your automation rule if it failed. There should be some hint informing you why it failed
@Alvin Chan _Ease Solutions_ Hi Elvin.
