Regex in automation to regress a transition is files missing

Christine Kihanya September 5, 2023 edited

Hi community,

I have an automation rule that regresses a transition from SPECFICAITION DEFINITION back to OPEN if the ticket is missing a file within an acceptable range of extensions, i.e. .shp, .kml, .kmz or .zip.

It's mostly working. However, it is failing when there are other file types, even though a file in one of the acceptable formats exists.

Working example: Attached files are: .shp and .zip

Failing example: Attached files are: .png, .pdf and .zip. If I remove the non-acceptable formats and re-attach them after the transition, the rule works, but I don't want to use that work-around

Success logs - apparently this issue fulfilled the condition even if it has a .zip file attached
