Hello @Dana Grummer
Welcome to the community.
Are you working with a board for a Company Managed project or a Team Managed project? It will say at the bottom of the navigation pane on the left.
Fix Version information is not a piece of information that automatically displays for the issues in the Backlog screen. If you are working with a Company Managed project, you can add up to 3 additional items to display on the items in the Backlog screen. You would do this by clicking on the ... in the upper right corner of the board and selecting Board Settings. The select Card Layout.
From there select the field you want to add (1), then click the Add button (2) to add it to the card display. Make sure you do this in the Backlog section (3), not the Active Sprints/Kanban Board section (4).
If you are working with a Team Managed project, currently it is not possible to add fields for display on the cards.
Here is the change request to add that feature to Team Managed projects:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
While you won't be able to see the Fix Version Release in the card in a Team Managed project, you can use the Versions pane to filter what is displayed by clicking on a Release.
After defining at least one Release you will see the Versions filter (1) appear on the backlog screen.
When you pull that down you will find a toggle for displaying the Versions pane (2).
You can use either the check boxes in the pull-down (3) or the Versions listed in the Versions pane (4) to filter you backlog to display only the issues that are assigned the selected Version in the Fix Version field.

Welcome to the Community 🙂
Did you try with refreshing the browser for once or is it the same issue you are looking at, please confirm.
There's no configuration for that to hide or anything link that
As long as you have the version it should show in the backlog section
Thanks,
Pramodh

FYI
I just saw that issue is resolved, how come you have the resolved issue in backlog?
Naf may I know if this is Scrum project or Kannan
Either way the issue shouldn't be in backlog for a resolved issue!!

I just created my project today and trying to understand how it all works. This is my test project. I'm moving all current issues from another system and just entered items we're working on in the current sprint. This issue is done, but in the current sprint that is still active and I wanted to add it to the Release that is coming up and couldn't figure out how to show the release in the row.
I think my main issue is that this project is a Team Managed project.
