Removing a person from active Jira board

Hi,

We have some users that has left our organisation but when we are looking at our Jira active board, these ex-users, where their access has been removed, still appears. What do i need to do to remove them from view. See screenshot below

Hi Ethan,

The people who show up on the board are users who are currently associated with at least one card on the board - either as Reporter or Assignee. So if you replace the Reporter and Assignee fields with only current active users, then the inactive users should disappear from the list.

Your inactive users don't count toward your licenses but they remain in Jira in case they are a project lead or they are a filter owner or ,....

It is good to keep them so that you don't break any reports or subscriptions.

If you want to get rid of them you can create a service account then use it instead of the inactive users.
