Rest API - How get list of projects and Confluence Spaces under a list of Atlassian accounts?

Zoey Wang January 15, 2023 edited

Hi guys,

If there is a way to retrieve separate lists of Jira/JSM Projects, Confluence Spaces under a list of Atlassian accounts via REST API?

For administration purpose, it is a common request I guess in Cloud environment. I have never done this before, any suggestions/guidance would be appreciated!

FYI: The initial request is we need a list of users who have not been active in the past three months on the instance. A colleague of mine has filtered out the list of such users on product level only. But we need a detailed level to decide which users can be removed.

Hi @Zoey Wang do you want a list of inactive users? Or do you want a list of projects and spaces?

Each is a different ask.

Spaces don't fall under 'Atlassian accounts'. Can you explain more about that? Thanks.

Hi Darin,

Under each product, I need a list of inactive users who have accessed a list of the corresponding projects in Jira/JSM and the spaces in Confluence if any.

So I need both - users and projects/spaces.

To your last point - what do you mean by Spaces dont fall under "Atlassian accounts"?

Thanks a lot
