Hi Lin - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

For user picker fields in Jira you will need to supply the email address of the user or their Jira username (if you know it). You can't just stick a person's name in there - it has to be a valid user.

but "Lijun Lin" is a valid user

That's problem the public name but it is not the email or the username for the user. You need that. Or use the Account ID for the user.

If you are a Site Admin, you can to go Settings > User Management and search for the user.

There you will be able to see the email address and/or Account ID of the user (latter will at the end of the URL for the user.

You cannot simply use their name.

Annotation 2023-07-06 133526.jpgAs you can see the above screenshot , "Lijun Lin" is a valid user, but when Jira proccess my value,it alway convert into "lijunlin",so causing "user doesn't exist".But the truth is ”Lijun Lin“ exist. So i wonder why it convert into "All lowercase with no spaces" form.
