Hi, I have multiple issue status mapped to one column so I'd like to show the status of issues in the board of our TMP. I've seen this done for CMP but I can't find a way of doing this in our TMP. I'm also not using any filters in the board. We could potentially use labels to do this but it'd mean updating two fields and would leave room for error - any ideas? Thanks!
Hi @Faustina Tolosa and welcome to the Community!
As silly as it may seem, that does not seem to be possible in Team Managed projects. I agree completely that it would not make much sense to add a label to represent the status that is already there. But you could use automation rules to set/update labels when an issue transitions into a next status.
You also mention you are not using filters. It would be possible to add additional quick filters to just show the issues in a specific status on the board (only for these columns that have multiple statuses linked to them)
Or as a last resort - as long as it is not your done column, you could also revert to the situation where you display separate columns for each status.
Hope this helps!
Thank you @Walter Buggenhout - I'll give automation rules a go. Appreciate your help!
