Jira,
For tasks in a company-managed project, I'm noticing that even though a Task is Released/Done (the done checkbox is showing on the screen) see screenshot. The task/ticket continues to roll from sprint to sprint. It should stop once a ticket is done.
How do i stop that from happening? Thank you
Hi @Sharon Youmans,
A task is only considered done in a sprint if it is in the rightmost column of your board. The Done checkmark is the resolution field that is filled out - that does not influence the concept of completed for sprints and I am quite sure that there will be a column to the right of released on your sprint board.
Hope this helps!
Hi @Walter Buggenhout
So i mapped Released to the 'Done' column. But now i'm seeing tasks that were done from years ago showing in my done column for the active sprint. Do you have to modify the filter for the active sprint board to not sure items that were done outside of the sprint?

An issue will move to the next sprint when it is not done when the sprint is finished.
To be done, it must be in the last column of the board (and, also, all its subtasks must be too)
I note J Hammond moved the status from "Done" to "released". My guess is therefore, that released is not mapped in your board (because it's past the scope of the team the board is for), so the issue is no longer done. Simple fix - map the released status into the last column, along with done.
