Hello @Benjamin Charbit

JIRA is designed to be able to generate reports like BurnDown, BurnUp, and Velocity Charts based on Story points. Those charts are based on JIRA recognizing that the item assigned the Story points is "not done" or "done". JIRA is designed to recognize that only for issues at the Story/Task/Bug level. JIRA will not base those charts off of Sub-task types of issues, and so from the design of JIRA it is meaningless to have Story Points set for Sub-tasks.

Perhaps if you tell us about why you want to have Story Points on Sub-tasks we can suggest alternatives.

Hi, @Benjamin Charbit !

It is Jira's feature, you can't estimate sub-task (the lowest hierarchy item in Jira).

It is really useful because all out-of-box reports works with this logic.
