Time tracking per project

Lotte Pijnenburg January 18, 2023

Hi,

On our global settings, the Time display format is set to Pretty (e.g. 4 days, 4 hours, 30 minutes).

But, in our backlog - the time tracking is set to 'days'. We use team-managed projects.

Any idea on how to set the projects time tracking values to pretty?
Thanks!

Gr,
Lotte

Hello @Lotte Pijnenburg

Can you provide a screen image for what you see in your backlog? Are you see fractional days as decimals instead of hours and minutes?

The first (gray) view should be like x days, x hours, x minutes but it is viewing it indeed as fractional days as decimals.

In your Global Settings, what do you have your "Default unit for time tracking" set to? I see what you see when I have it set to Days, but if I change it to Minutes then I see the #d #h #m format.

It's set to minutes... So indeed I should be able to see the d h m ... :(

Hello @Lotte Pijnenburg

I apologize for taking so long to get back to you.

So far I have not been able to recreate what you see, with the Global Time Tracking Settings using Minutes for the Default Unit.

I advise you to open a support case directly with Atlassian to investigate this more.

It would be wonderful if you report back here what you learn.
