Question for the community. I’m curious on the best approach to create a synchronization with Time tracking within ‘Jira Cloud’ and ITBM ServiceNow (Possibly Bi-directional)? Has anyone tried this?
I’m guessing this could be done by creating a batch file that pulls and log time records from Jira into ServiceNow?

-Emanuel
Hi @Emanuel Y ,
There could be multiple ways to achieve this and Exalate could also be one of them can be using Exalate if you are open to install a 3rd Party integration tool which can help you sync Time tracking fields from Jira.
Exalate, provides a fully bi-directional synchronization between ServiceNow and Jira (among other ITSM systems) that is fully customizable. It is easy to set up and Exalate uses a scripting engine which is based on Groovy scripts where you can control what data you want to share and even you can independently handle the incoming information. You can achieve complex use-cases with ease.
You can also check out this integration guide.
You can also check this documentation for more info.
Please be informed that I am associated with Exalate, and I am working here as a Pre-Sales Engineer!

@Emanuel Y hello. I believe there is more than one way to achieve this. One of them is by using a 3rd party solution. If you decide to give it a go, feel free to take a look at ZigiOps (you can check us on the marketplace). It's a no-code solution that can help you connect the two systems (bi-directionally) and sync them. It can help you with your use case - syncing the time tracking between Jira and ITBM ServiceNow. Do not hesitate to reach out to our tech team for further use case discussion and clarifications, plus, you can book a demo meeting to see how ZigiOps executes the task.
