I have a problem with creating an automation that transitions the ticket status same as the linked issue.

Can you share the rule that you have created so far? And what is not working with it?
This implies that your trigger issue uses the same workflow as the target issue, correct?
I don't really see the use case of linked issues all having the same status to be honest.
