Unable to see dependencies on Jira Roadmap

Terry Beavers December 8, 2022 edited

Greetings Atlassian Community,

I have created a project roadmap on our Jira Cloud instance (free trial) with epics and stories, but I am unable to see the visual dependencies on the roadmap when linking stories as "blocked" and "is blocked by".  I have verified the Dependencies checkbox is selected under View Settings on the project roadmap, and I can see the dependency link between epics, but there are still no visual dependency links displayed on the project roadmap for stories.

Is there another setting I need to configure to include story dependency links?

Please advise and thanks in advance for your support!

Terry

I just figured out the issue, which was in fact configuration related.

I needed to enable "Child level issue scheduling" under Roadmap settings, which looks to be disabled by default.
