Unable to use gitlab plugin

While trying to link a gitlab group through their plugin, I see subscription request failing.

Error being: "The Jira user is not a site administrator. Check the permissions in Jira and try again." I am Org Admin for the product. I am not able to create site-admins group as its a default group. There is no default group visible that would give me the required permission.

Any possible resolution for this?

Hi @Shubham Rawat ,

As per the error you've mentioned, you can try to add yourself as a member of the site-admin group.

Once added retry the connection via the plugin.

Note: there is a new change coming where the org-admin is no longer added by default to all sites as the site-admin, not sure if this has been released and is causing this.

I created a site-admins group manually and added the users. The plugin works now. Thanks for the help.
