Upgrade to Jira Premium

We would like a limited number of users to have the Advanced Roadmap and Capacity planning features. Do all users in the site have to upgrade to Premium (which would be a huge cost) or just the ones that need the extra features?

Does this mean that pricing will become the higher price for all users or just the users that then have features enabled?

The pricing will be applicable for all the users.

An alternative will be to look for Marketplace applications which can fulfill your needs and check if their cost is lower for you.

Do you or anyone else know if its easy enough to trial the premium account without screwing things up on the site if I chose to not stick with premium?

The upgrade applies to all users, it the cost is too high you might explore other options like big picture

You will also have to pay for all the users but since you can remain in standard version the increase shouldn't be as big as going to premium
