HI,
As a JIRA admin, i have notice recently that new users are being created in our JIRA instance by a user that to my knowledge is not part of our admin group. What got my attention regarding this is that i am receiving emails form Atlassian saying that user XXXX has join JIRA. The email contains the new user email and the URL of our Atlassian cloud instance. I am looking at the logs in system/audit log but beside the new user's name and timestamp of the event there is no other pertinent information. How can i figure out who invited that user ? Thanks!
Hello @Francois Losier
Welcome to the community.
It looks like the information might be available in the audit logs for your Organization, as per this post:
https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Find-out-who-invited-a-user/qaq-p/1193641
not sure about that solution, here is what i can see if i follow the steps in this post, there is no mention of who created the new user. See screenshot please , thanks for your help.

Hello @Francois Losier
I don't think you are in the right screen.
You need to navigate to https://admin.atlassian.com as a user with Organization Admin permissions.
From there you would select your Organization.
As noted in the other post, you must also have subscribed to the Atlassian Access product. If you have, then you should see a Security option in the menu at the top of the screen. And after selecting that you would be able to select the Audit Log.
