Why I cannot find a field "Component" in custom fields

We have a field called "Component" I want to edit the options for that but unfortunately I am not able to find that field on custom fields page. could anyone help me here?

is it the standard components fields from jira?

If so, check the components page in your projects to edit the options.

You'll need project admin rights for that.

Hey @Ayush Pathak

It seems you refer to regular Component field, which is affected by the components each project have.

You may enter the project, and see in the project options bar "Components". 

Then you need to switch to 'Jira Components' and then creat new component.

Each component you create will affect the value you may choose in components field.
