I am my organization's Org Admin (and a site-admin and jira-admin), yet there is a slew of team-managed projects that I cannot access... What's the deal? Everywhere I read suggests that even "private" team-managed projects can be accessed by Jira Admins.
@Mikael Sandberg , I may be mistaken here as I do not use TMP much at all but I would have expected that an Org admin would have the ability to access private projects. The link you provided seems to indicate this is the case as well. Can you point me to where the Org admin has no access?

Even this message in one of the private projects (to which I did not have access until the Project Creator added me) asserts that "admins... can search for, view, create, or edit its issues". I really have no clue what I'm missing...

I do not use TMP much and every one that has been created was by me which restricts my ability to test. I will see if I can get someone to create a private TMP and see if I, as the org admin, can access or not.

You are correct @Jack Brickey, my bad. My head is still referring to the old permissions where Org admin was different.
@Scott Pelton-Stroud ignore my post.
