Is there a reason why I cannot group by "Status" when using the Plan view?Screenshot 2023-09-13 at 10.37.03 AM.png

You can add custom fields and sort by them.  So, if you absolutely want to sort by Status, you'd have to do some automation that would copy the Status to the custom field.  It seems like quite a round-about way of doing it, and it would be great if Atlassian just let you group by Status.  I'd like to know why that isn't an option by default - seems like a no-brainer.

Hi @Emil Motycka welcome to the community!

Seems like you're using the Advanced Roadmaps. Perhaps you can try to group by labels and see if this can suffice your request?

More details here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiraportfolioserver/grouping-by-labels-978213602.html

Hope the above helps!
