×Hello!
New Admin here... please be gentle :)
This morning off-hours, we implemented changes to our master workflow used by approximately 25 scrum teams. Post implementation in production, the new statuses and swim-lanes were available but for some reason numerous closed stories were re-opened.
1. Is there a way to bulk close the hundreds of stories which re-opened?
2. From a Lessons Learned perspective, what should we do in the future to prevent this from happening?
Thanks in advance - Tom
You can use the bulk transition option to close the re-opened issue, just go to Filters > Advanced issue search and search for the re-opened ones. Once you have the result you are looking for, click on the three-dot menu up in the right hand corner and select Bulk edit and follow the on-screen instructions.
When you published the new workflow, did you map all the old statuses to the new ones? There should be a screen showing up when you publish if there are changes to the statuses in the new workflow.
Thanks! That worked!
The Velocity charts were impacted by this and after re-closing stories, the Velocity charts are still skewed. Is there something I can do to get the Velocity charts to reset post fix?
Thanks again,
Tom
