X-Ray Attachment threshold

Happy Friday.

XRAY Plugin by XBLEND

There is a 50GB cap on XRAY attachments for the entire Jira instance. At this point I'd like to perform some sort of discovery to identify these XRAY attachments and the associated tickets, project, etc. Not having access to the repository makes it a bit challenging. I'm hoping there is a JQL I can execute to look for X-Ray attachments so I may identify the project and the owner.

Hi @Emerico Vespucci

Have you considered Xray Enterprise? According to this page, you could increase your storage limit to 500GB using that App.

The help page also confirms that Xblend are looking to make it possible for Jira Admins to track the storage in the App's settings.

For now, I would either...

  • Contact Xblend for assistance to identify the attachments - their support details are on their Marketplace Partner page
  • Use JQL to find Xray-related Issue Types with attachments as a starting point - eg.
    • issuetype = Test and attachments is not empty

Hello. Yes, we're probably heading towards the purchase of enterprise. However, we thought it would be easier identifying the attachments for XRAY. Another draw back once you go SaaS. We lose control over access to the repository.

Yeah, I used the JQL you mentioned as well. Not very good for what we need. Thanks anyway

I'd still try contacting the vendor for additional assistance, if you haven't already!
