calendar restrictions on Jira

Can I add a calendar on a Jira board to restrict the creation of issues on specific days? My company has some calendar restrictions, and we don't want teams adding work on those days because it is critical for our operation.

No, you can't add a calendar to a board or the create process. And I don't know of any way to restrict what days an issue can be created on.

You might be able to do something with a workflow postfunction or validator on Create, especially if you have a plugin like ScriptRunner, but I don't think there would be any kind of pretty UI for it.
