copy and paste of projects or sections of projects?

Hi Community,

I'm using Jira Work Management templates and trying to determine if there a way of performing copy and paste of projects or sections of projects?  I have some projects that are quite repetitive so if I could copy and past them it would be quite a time saver.

Thanks@

Hello @Lindsey Jensen

If you are talking about duplicating issues between projects, there are a couple of ways that might be done.

You could use the CSV Import process, creating a template CSV file of the issues you want to duplicate and importing them into a destination project.

You could use Automation for Jira to Clone issues between projects.

If you are talking about copying configuration elements, like workflows or issue types, that can be done during project creation for Company Managed projects by selecting the options to "Share settings with an existing project"
