Hello everyone,
I was trying to create an automation rule to copy all the data from and idea summary to the description of the Epic on my development scrum board when I create a delivery ticket, so I used the Polaris issue link.
unfortunately when I press "create a delivery ticket" it creates new epic to delivery scrum board but the automation is not even triggered, can anyone help in this
Can you confirm that on the new Epic issue that is created, the link exists?
yes the new Epic created and working, I already accessed it from the delivery scrum board on the backlog

The Epic was created alright. But the link exists? You have on your rule the trigger which means that an issue must be linked to another with the link type "polaris". Can you share the epic inside and see the linked issue in it?

Yes indeed. But the link type is "implements" and not polaris. Try to change it to "implements" and create another Epic.

@Mohamed Samy apologies. You are on Jira Product Discovery but on your post is written Jira Software. So I thought you were on JSW :/

You have to add your rule on the JSW project (or create a global rule) and NOT on the JPD project. Doing so, the rule will get triggered
