Hi Team,
We have a question from our Client, is it possible to have one backlog overview from 2 different Jira projects?
Please guide on how to achieve this/
Regards,
Anuradha
If I understand your question, yes. There are a few ways that I could be wrong here, depending on how your team actually works.
To do this, FIRST select the board your team wants to use, then select the backlog tab - then go into the settings (the ... menu in the top right corner), and then update the query to look for both projects. Once you have that set up you can create sprints that have tickets from both (or more) projects.
What you're doing isn't always simple, and you will run into other concerns such as having to map statuses to the board for both projects.
The query for your board(s) also control the backlog. Here's an example from a fake project that can pull tickets from several projects into their sprints.
