restrict issues moving to blocked status

Need your help please

Today , users are moving issues to blocked status whithout linking any issues which is causing it .

How can we make sure that status should not move to "blocked" status if the issue is not linked

Please advise.

Thanks
Ashish

Hi @Ashish Saini

Out of the box you won't be able to do it.  You will need a plugin such as JMWE or JSU which provides validators such as the one you are looking for.

example: https://innovalog.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/JMWE/pages/431620097/Related+Issues+Validator

Good Luck.

Hi Ashish,

Try adding a Condition for Value field. Then make sure the Linked issues field != null
