Autoclose parent when subtasks are closed

Hi

we have the Workflow extenstion in Jira and I want to chose to post transition action as described here

https://innovalog.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/JMWEC/pages/94142542/Transition+parent+issue

But I don't have an option to close the parent items on subtask closure.

There are the only ones I see

Assign to Current UserAssigns the issue to the current user if the current user has the 'Assignable User' permission.
Assign to Lead DeveloperAssigns the issue to the project/component lead developer
Assign to ReporterAssigns the issue to the reporter
Clear Field ValueClear value of a given field.
Copy Value From Other FieldCopies the value of one field to another, either within the same issue or from parent to sub-task.
Create Crucible Review Workflow FunctionCreates a Crucible review for all unreviewed code for this issue
Set issue security level based on user's project roleSet the issue's Security Level to the specified level if the current user is in a specified Project Role.
Trigger a WebhookIf this post-function is executed, Jira will post the issue content in JSON format to the URL specified.
Update Issue Custom FieldUpdates an issue custom field to a given value.
Update Issue FieldUpdates a simple issue field to a given value.

How can I choose the update parent if it is not in the list?

Hi Tim,

Look at the Manage add-ons page for JMWE app and you check whether all the modules are enabled or not. If not, and if possible try a reinstall of the app (you will not loose any data)

Hi Tim,

It does not appear that the JMWE app is installed. All of the options available through that app appear like this:

Transition parent issue (JMWE app)

Where (JMWE app) appears after each option. And there are a LOT.

So I would say with certainly that the App has not fully gotten installed on your instance.

Hi John, thank you for the reply.

It did work on the simplified workflow. Is it by default installed then for simplified workflows but not for custom workflows?

I would think it would be on ALL workflows. Not sure there is even a way to differentiate between them on the install.

You probably need to contact JMWE support for assistance. Once you have a resolution, can you come back here and update the thread?
