At our company we are using Jira for the Engineering team, but the BizDev/Marketing team uses Trello. From time to time we (the Engineers) would like to send tasks over to marketing's Trello:

I know that it is working the other way round, creating Jira issues from a Trello card, using the Jira power-up. And there actually is a Trello add-on installed in our Jira instance, but I can't figure out how to use it. Have I missed something, or is it really not possible?
Paid add-ons from the marketplace (like Zapier) are no option, since the benefit propably won't outweigh the costs.

Out of the box, it doesn't appear there is a way to do this. After a quick search I found there are some pay-marketplace addons for Jira to support this.
There is also a suggestion to add this to native Jira here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-70924
If this need is just occasional, have you considered just volunteering to add them to the business team's board, or use their intake process to load them?
