That suggests a plugin has provided a field, so you have data for it, but the new version doesn't support it.

Go back to your old instance and find the field called "binary" - what type is it?

I'm trying to restore JIRA using a backup from other instance, I'd faced another error before this one, probably cause the plugins used on the old instance. After isntall the plugins I received this exception.
