Product improvement — Quick Add button

In the old version of confluence there was an option to quickly add tasks and stories to epics using a Quick Add button. 

The new UI seems to have removed this feature. 

It is really useful to have a quick add without having to add an issue and then link it, which takes a lot longer when you have a lot of tasks. 

At the moment I'm always going to the old view to do this. 

Is there a way of adding this Quick Add button back in?

Hi Dean, 

At this time, the functionality you're requesting is not yet possible in the New Issue View is new and has few missing features regarding the "old" view. It's still having features added, also, you feel free to provide feedback regarding this topic using the Give Feedback button.

There is also an existing feature request on this and you can track it via JSWCLOUD-17084 Add the create issue in epic button to Jira new issue view.

In the meanwhile this feature is added, you can either:

• Create the issues within the Epics from the Epic Panel available from the Board's views.
• Go back to use the old View by clicking the link in the upper right corner of the screen
• Create the issue and use the Epic link field to link it to the Epic of your choice.
