Hi 

Is the Creation of issues using email handler supported in On Demand?

I did see that the online help documentation is related to JIRA server - but I am uncertain if it is supported in On Demand.

Please advise

Yup, it does - https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Creating+Issues+and+Comments+from+Email 

(Note the AOD as the space key - it really does mean "this space is about Atlassian OnDemand only")
