When an inviter/invitee shares an email domain, the invite is automatically accepted. This makes the

In "Teams in Atlassian cloud" the following is stated:

"When an inviter/invitee shares an email domain, the invite is automatically accepted. This makes the user immediately appear as a full member."

But this "automatically accepted" does not happen. Instead a notice saying "INVITED" appears next to the name, although no email or invitation is sent.  The invitee is forced to go to the team page and "accept" before the useful @mentions to the team will work.

How does one check that this is working as intended because EVERYONE has the same email domain.
