When will the approval functionality show up in existing JIRA projects?

HI, 

We are already using JIRA for ages, first on server now on cloud.

I understood that JIRA Software and JIRA work management will merge into JIRA and there will be no longer a distiction between the two. 

When will this be vivible in the existing projects. I would love to add some approval functionality to some of my existing projects, but so far it does not seems to be possible, either trhough the apporval tab ( not existing) or through the workflow editor ( no approval option)

Hi Laura,

The Approval functionality exists as a built-in function only for Team-managed Business projects right now. It is not know when that might be incorporated into Company-managed Jira projects.
