As administrator, I don’t figure out how can I set the English language in the administration page.
Below the page I see as admin
It’s written in italian but you can see “il tuo profilo” that means your profile.
I click on it
It brings me to the profile and visibility section
Then, I click on the account preferences section (and you can see the language is set to English US)
I even went to products just to double check what could have been set not in the appropriate manner
Below, the settings of the 2 account I’ve on Jira (for both confluence and software)
In the end, I still see the italian language in my administrator page as you can see from the first snapshot.
Do you have any idea of how can I set it to English?
Thanks,
Daniele
Can you try with another browser ? May be your browser translate automatically the page.
The language that you can see depends on three settings.
- your profil settings
- your browser language setting.
- If Jira can't detect the browser's language, it will use the Default language setting in
Jira.
Hi Mohamed,
Sincerely I don't know why, I mean, I've also tried with another browser but the same happens.
Below my browser's settings screenshot.
It's written:
sort the languages based on your preferences
first row) Italiano: This language it's used to translate pages
second row) This language it's used to show the google chrome UI
third row) English (US)
fourth row) English
fifth row) Spanish
The fact is that I have other pages that are not translated into Italian while they are opened, so why? is there something specific related to Jira?
