Hello,
Is it possible to create a "to-do" list, similar to that of a checkbox within a comment under a specific story or idea at this time? Ideally, I would like to assign specific "tasks" to a business owner or user within the comments section, apply a "due date" to set comment checklist item and then allow for that checkbox to be marked as "done" or "completed". This would be a situation where we have multiple individuals to tag under the @ section of the comment for one or more multiple tasks to hold them accountable per meeting minutes from that project or idea. I see there are several plug-ins that may assist with the ask here but I am not sure if they would allow for the task-lists to be populated in the comment section or not. Does that make sense?
Hey, @Nicholas Cannon
Do you need the checklist to be inside the comments section specifically? If so, what would be the reason?
Because, as you mentioned, there are apps like Smart Checklist that allow you to create checklists or checklist templates inside your tasks (not in the comments, but separately). The functionality does allow you to add and change custom statuses, assign specific items to users, and apply a due date.
There are also options for automation and exporting of data if you need this aspect from the comments functionality.
Hi @Oleksandr Siryi_Railsware_ ,
Thank you for your response. Yes, specifically, I am seeking to know if there is functionality that allows the checklists to be embedded within the comment itself? I have explored the smart checklist and agree, it's a great tool for tasks specifically but am still wondering if it is possible to do this within the comment itself. Thanks so much.
