Key search feature on single select field

I have a single select custom field containing more than 100 values, so it's difficult to go through all possible values and select the most appropriate one.

I believe we can enable "key search" by giving custom script on field description under project's Field configuration. Below is my script, which isn't working as expected. Can anyone please help on this?

Hi @subham patra 

When i select the field and start typing the choice i want, it takes me down the list to the choice. I use this to navigate the long list of choices.

What are you trying to achieve here? Sounds the same to me..

Hi @Fazila Ashraf , Will it work for Data center version 8.5? I was trying to add but it is not working. I have added the code above custom script on field description under project's Field configuration and custom field description but didn't work.
