"Your issue XXXXXX has been created but is not currently visible because it does not match your board filter".
Maybe you can help me with this type of issue? I am able to create tasks and epics but they aren't visible. How can I create board filter to show all the tasks and epics?
Hi Jekaterina,
What type of project are you using? Team-managed? Company-managed? Jira Work Management/Business?

That's probably why. Is it is Business project? Or Software?

Oops, sorry, my mistake. I am using Company-managed type of the project. I need to update filter to see all the tasks and epics. But what do I need to enter to see all the issues (tasks/epics etc.)?

While on the board, click on the 3 dots menu in the upper right.
Select Board Settings
In the General tab you should see the board filter. You should be able to click on that, update it and save it and then return to the board.

The first one or the second one?
I can't update the second one.
And what do I need to enter in the filter to show all the issues, f.e. in the timeline?

Hi Jekaterina
TLDR
try to use the filter project = RIVD ORDER BY Rank ASC
Most likely it is the AND "System[Radio Buttons]" = Software that is causing the issue you are having. If this custom field is not being set on the create issue screen your board filter will not be able to display it and will display the error you are experiencing.
If you click Edit Filter Query in the first red box and remove this and save the filter and try to see if the issues are showing up.
It could potentially be the other part as well AND component is EMPTY if a component is automatically set on the issues created (or set on the create issue screen) you can try this as a second option.

Yes, click on Edit Filter Query and make that change.

@Fredrik Dahl Hi, thank you for the answer. Maybe I have some other options because I need that AND "System[Radio Buttons]" = Software part.
Maybe there are some other options?

What exactly are you wanting to see on the board?

Yes, your option then is to make sure that the custom field System is present on the create issue screen - and also set (click the correct radio button) to Software
If System custom field is not set to Software on the create issue screen your issues will not show on the board.
If you can post a screenshot of your create issue screen
Go to your project and click Project settings at the bottom in the left hand menu.
Then follow these steps: "1" click Issues/Screens and klick on "2" the create issue screen and take a screenshot of that

All the issues I or others have created for the Software.
Also, I have epics and tasks for Hardware, Mechanics etc. which I can select by clicking on radiobutton. That's why I need to include information about that radiobutton in the filter.
If I choose radiobutton [Software], I would like to see all the epics, tasks that are related to Software.

So you want this one board to show every issue that has ever been created in your Jira instance? That is unsustainable and will result in errors.

I am trying but you are not being responsive as to what you want to see on a single board. The board is not capable of showing all issues you have created in your instance. You MUST narrow that down.

I think I need to close this ticket. We managed to solve this issue. Thank you for your time and help.

I already answered. On one board - all the issues I or others have created for the Software. We have boards for Hardware, Mechanics etc. Sorry, but you are replying about smth else.
But nevermind - we managed to solve this issue. Thank you for your time.
